Andrew Bird returns to headline the Ryman this spring with a very special show set for March 19, 2012. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m. and will be available here.
Glen Campbell has been forced to postpone his Dec. 5 performance at the Ryman tonight due to a case of laryngitis. He will perform a make up date on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the Dec. 5 show will be honored at the Jan. 3 date. If ticket holders are unable to attend the rescheduled date, refunds are available at the point of purchase.
Ever wonder how our limited edition Hatch Show Prints are made? Earlier this fall, we documented the process with Hatch artist Bethany Taylor from start to finish as she worked on the poster for The Raconteurs.
Exciting news today! We’re launching two new mobile apps — one for iPhone users and one for Android users. The apps will allow users to access concert information on the go, view exclusive Ryman related content and purchase tickets directly within the app via Ticketmaster mobile integration. The free apps are available starting today from the iTunes store for iPhone and Android Marketplace for Android respectively.
“After the successful redesign of ryman.com earlier this year, our partner Nissan North America led the way in this next step of our digital makeover. We’re excited that these apps offer another way for us to interact with customers while making it easier for fans to share their excitement about Ryman events with each other,” said Sally Williams, Ryman Auditorium General Manager.
Along with concert dates, the apps feature:
- In-app ticket purchasing
- Ability to share events with friends via Twitter and Facebook
- Ability to sign up for push messaging to receive concert announcements as text messages
- Easy check-in to events via Facebook and Foursquare
- Virtual Hatch Show Print gallery
- Behind-the-scenes videos
- Online store to purchase Ryman Auditorium merchandise
- Concert photos
- Newsletter sign-up
The new Ryman apps were developed by Santa Monica, CA based Mobile Roadie which previously built apps for the Grand Ole Opry and Live Nation as well as artists including Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Madonna and Taylor Swift. The apps are the first digital step in putting Official Partner Nissan North America’s Innovation For All promise into action at the award-winning venue.
